🧂 Drinking and salt with a low circulation

No home remedy here replaces treatment, and none is talked down. What has done good for generations does good — even if no one ever measured it. Where something is well studied, it says so. Where it is only experience, it says that too.

What you do

A large glass of water right after waking, drink enough across the day, salt food normally; if prone to going black, cross the legs and tense the muscles.

Why it is plausible

More fluid in the circulation means more pressure in the vessels. Crossing the legs and tensing the muscles squeezes blood from the legs back to the heart — that works within seconds.

What it cannot do

It raises a low blood pressure only a little and does not replace assessment when the dizziness is new and strong.

When to leave it

Not with high blood pressure, heart failure or kidney disease — there the opposite applies. Salt is expressly not general advice here; it applies only with confirmed low blood pressure.

When it is no longer a home remedy

When it is no longer a home remedy

Get seen at once: the sudden, worst headache of your life, headache with fever and a stiff neck, with weakness, speech or vision trouble. Likewise dizziness with double vision or an unsteady gait. Sleeplessness over weeks with loss of drive is something to discuss, not to endure.
